  1. Design is king Design is something of a pet hobby of mine. I love simple, streamlined presentations and logos, and I think infographics are simply great. So what does that have to do with business? And specifically, what does it have to do with this book?To put it in one sentence: The name of the game in this third book from Dr. Monadjem is “simplify.” In this book, the author talks about ways to simplify data and boil it down into effective communication. He spends several chapters on how to present data and information in a ton of different ways, from your standard PowerPoint slideshow to your not-so-standard presentations. Some of the examples he gives are simply brilliant, like suggesting to format your presentation as an interactive art gallery. He also introduces tools for how you can incorporate technology into your presentations, from multimedia to — yes! — infographics.I would say that this book is my favorite of the series so far. Dr. Monadjem gives really clear examples to illustrate creative ways of presenting information. He also draws analogies to all different industries, such as animation. I’d never thought of using a storyboard to outline a presentation before.
